In May 2004 I went on holiday to Faliraki and whist there I hired the first “rev and go” Scooter I'd ever ridden in my life. Wow! What fun I had , I appreciate the weather was great and it was perfect for cooling oneself down but on the road to Lindos I came out with the Will Smith quote from the film “Independence Day” which is “I’ve just got to get one of these” . When I got back…………… I Did !!!

I purchased a Kymco Miler 125 and started my riding career.

“Good times” was the order of the day and many miles were covered as visits to Mother in Redditch were tied in with matches at Villa Park. The weather at times could have been considerably better but hey what the hell it was fun!! Still is !!
Following a lot of cajoling from Ciff Mewse at work (he booked my theory test whilst I kept putting it off) I then took my direct access test which I passed in September 2005 and said to myself "wait till April 2006 and get a bigger scooter".
Well April turned into October and a return to Croscombe Garage was inevitable and consequently a Kymco Xciting 500 was bought.
It was then I joined the www.maxi-muppets.co.uk. Rideouts followed and many new friends were made. Some overseas trips to Belgium. Holland and France followed as well as a trip to the Isle Of Man where the Kymco completed several laps of the famous TT circuit.
